Cozy Sunday

Hello, all my devoted readers. It is me, The Cat, Von D. Here at Roses and Carnations (or whatever dis place is called), I’m enjoying the cooler weather. The fireplace is on, and I often sit in the window to bask in the warm sunlight coming through it. It’s very cozy in here. Even the people who come in have commented on it.

This week, we’re having a sound bath, presented by SoundEmbrace. It’s always very relaxing, even to me, the Queen. It’s also fun to see all the humans just lying around on the floor on their yoga mats or in the zero gravity chairs as I look on from a distance. Humans look so silly when they’re lying down!

The can opener has also asked me to remind everyone of the stitch n’ b*tch sessions we have every couple of weeks. If you do any sort of textile art (or any kind of craft, really), bring your work in progress on Tuesday morning or Friday evening and join the crowd at the stitch n’ b*tch. I sometimes get a little beside myself when the knitters and/or crocheters show up. I just can’t resist the siren song of the yarn....It’s a trap, I tell you!

If you come for the stitch n’ b*tch, feel free to bring a drink of some sort, a blanket, or anything else you need to feel comfy, along with your project you’re working on. Don’t worry, I *will* be supervising.

And of course, the chairs are always open, and I am always available for petting. Stop by anytime to see yours truly (and I guess the other one as well). You can come in and relax with us any time you like. No pressure at all to buy. The Queen is holding court six days a week and will happily welcome you.
