Hades the Sublime
Hello, dear readers!
It's your faithful transcriptionist, back with another blog from one of our feline friends! Today's post is from Hades.
Hi, guys. It's nice to be here at Radishes and Coconuts (or whatever VonD calls this place). I'm Hades, the resident beautiful orange kitty. I'm almost certain I've heard people say I'm majestic like a lion. And if they haven't actually said it out loud, I'm sure they've thought it at least once. I am very beautiful, after all, and as glorious as a lion, for sure. I'm also quite soft, if I do say so myself--as I should be because I work very hard at keeping myself that way! I consider it a service to the public to remain nice and soft for petting. However, I stick to a fairly strict schedule when it comes to meeting and greeting everyone. I'm usually pretty social for two or three days at a time. But then, after spending so much time around people, I'm completely pooped. So I have to take a day or two off because I get people-d out. This is a natural cycle in my life, and I like my on days as much as I like my off days.
Oh, by the way, while I'm thinking about it, did you guys see Von D's feature in Foothills magazine? Oh, my gosh, she's been even more vain and insufferable than usual lately, after that. I mean, it's nice that she was pictured, but I'm going to be getting my own feature in Foothills soon. And I can assure you, mine will be better! What makes me say that? Oh, it's just because I'm softer and more magnificent in every way. Hades, the Sublime, I'm sure they call me. (Just not out loud.)
I hope you'll all come by and visit me here at Rembrandt and Cyclones (another ridiculous VonD name for this place). As long as I'm not exhausted from greeting my adoring public, I would love to see you. If I *am* exhausted, maybe I'll catch you next time. You might even get lucky and get to see me doing some of my aerial maneuvers I like to do when the notion strikes me.
Check out the calendar to see all the fun events coming up and all the excuses you can have to come visit me! Well, I guess I'd better be going. Duty (and doing a kickflip) calls!
See you later, and enjoy your spooky season!
