$80.00 will include both days of the workshop, an original pattern by Poppy Tree Quilts, a kit with fabric for the quilt, and light refreshments.
A Change of Venue
Do you have a large scale fabric you don’t want to cut into small pieces? What about one with motifs you’d like to feature? Or do you want a super easy quick quilt that can be done in a weekend?
This quilt comes in 3 sizes and has multiple uses. The twin size can be scaled down to sizes that are suitable for a hospital bed, funeral home gurney, baby, lap, or wheelchair. You will learn how to chain piece without sub-cutting width-of-fabric strips, on-point placement, managing bias edges and/or one direction fabric.
Skill Level: Confident Beginner: students should know how to thread a sewing machine and sew a straight seam.
Bring a sewing machine if able. Please email us if a sewing machine will be needed for the workshop.
